I'll call and ask. I know the owner
I agree on the smaller portions. We used to go there and it was so much food. Went there last year for the first time in a long time and it was hardly anything. I was starving when we left.
I believe they close two weeks before Christmas day. That would be the 11th. From what I gathered talking with them, they leave at about that time to see family out of the country and will not be back until the new year. Hope that helps. Call before going is the best thing to do this close to the holidays.
Yes, they do!
Good food not badd price local seem to like it
Travelling through we decided Mexican sounded good and we found El Paraiso, which we found to have a nice clean building and, uh oh, only one other customer. The service was prompt but the food. Oh. Not so good. I had seafood enchiladas. Gross but I gagged them down. Pico was dried up and flavorless. Salsa almost adequate. Refried beans more like brownish water
Awesome food and great staff
Good food and drink was great! Just what I needed after a long week at work.
Delicious and the service was prompt and friendly.
Yummmm, this is where I go for my Mexican food fix!
OMGbest Mexican food and margaritas. Moved from California to Missouri. Have not had food like this since leaving California. To tell the truth, better than California.
Great food, medium servings, nice people
They have wonderful food. I enjoy this restaurant and go whenever in Canyonville
Very friendly, got a Togo order and food came out fast and hot.
Not bad, kind of bland but not bad. The food came out fast, I’ll give them that. One thing though: WE SAW A GHOST. That’s right, an honest to god haunting situation. We saw a man sitting at the booth alone, and we commented on how he resembled the Tapatio Man, only several years after his famous bottle photoshoot. Anyway we went outside after paying and looked back to see a COMPLETELY EMPTY BOOTH! No salsa, so chips, no old Tapitio dude, no nothing. Anyway it’s the only Mexican spot in canyonville, so you kind of have to go.
Good food. Nice staff. Have gone a few times and they were closed early.
I may be a little biased and basic when it comes to this place beeeecause... 1. After many many years in the same small town, you become friends with the different business owners, 2. I typically always get the same 1 or 2 things (so does my fam) cuz I know it's good & I love it. But this place is literally ALWAYS BUSY, sooo that alone says they are good. Customer Service is on point... Always friendly, and the meals usually arrive in 15-20 mins. Give or take 5 mins if busy busy. The endless, delicious chips & salsa will help keep you company while you wait tho!!
Great food drinks and atmosphere. Kids had sprite we had coke the dinner was amazing as always and my date was spectacular. I couldn't have asked for a better time. Thank you all
My wife and I ate here I had the chicken chimichanga with a super nachos it was fantastic. We also had margaritas which were very good. We would come back here and order at indefinitely definite place to go.
Beautiful decorations and delicious food!
Went there on my birthday, ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and it was PERFECT! So visually appealing and the taste was heaven with there combination of pineapple, cheese, rice, vegetables and bacon wrapped shrimp. Best I have ever had.
Friendly atmosphere, excellent table service. Good food!
The best Mexican food in the country, great decorations and a helpful staff.
Seafood Enchiladas were delicious and the margaritas were the best! Service was fast and oh so friendly. Prices were right too. We will be stopping in here again when we are in the area.
It was an insult to Mexican food!!!I was in the army for 29 year , and the army has a way better understanding of Mexican food than this place does...
I was in the mood for Mexican food today...and I didn't feel like going to my mom and I's old haunt. To be truthful, it wasn't anything to do with the food or the owners. I lost my mother in April and I just didn't need the memories. The place I went to today was just as good. The service was just as nice and they had an excellent enchilada and chili relleno. The rice and beans, and the chips and salsa were excellent as well. I will be headed back and that's usually not my MO on Mexican places. My mother made excellent Mexican food, one of her friends was an excellent Mexican cook, having learned in her family restaurant. This was good.
Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. I loved every single bit of my experience here! Definitely coming back for more In the near future!😃
This has always been my absolute favorite mexican restaurant in Oregon! It has great prices, family atmosphere, good drinks, friendly servive and is conveniently located off of the main road just south of 7Feathers Casino!
Food was great but plates were small. Service was awesome!
The food was good, but a bit bland for my tastes. I felt somewhat rushed by the wait staff.
Good sangria, great alternative to the crowded smoky casino, 1/4 mile away.
The best Mexican food in southern Douglas County!
Friendly staff, delicious food-close to aperfect, home-cooked meal. Very nice decor/ theme to match with the food. Price is fair. Would come back again. We ordered the chimichanga, chile verde and the taquitos.
Always great food and even better service here!
We enjoyed the decor and more importantly the food. We will be stopping in again the next time we travel I-5 through Oregon.
Great food good prices nice atmosphere fast friendly service
Quick seating, very friendly staff, portions good size and taste was good. I would recommend this establishment for dinner if in the area
Good costumer service, but i didn't like the food. There was no flavor on my shrimp fajitas, 5 shrimps and lots of onion. Expecting good food but not.
First time at this family Mexican restaurant. Impressed with cleanliness and painted mural decor. Well done. Food was excellent and ample and well pricedService was perfect. We will be back!
For a small town Mexican restaurant, the food is very good.. recommend carne asada... ask for a roasted jalapeno to go with it and a Cadillac margarita and you're good... fajita taco salad is good too. Typical Mexican fair, but definitely better than most I've been to in S Oregon.
Good food good service
Delicious food, huge portions and great service. Loved it!
Great carne asada, friendly people. Try a Cadillac Margarita
Not as good anymore. Watery beans, everything tastes the same. Degraded food quality. Not traditional Mexican. Seems processed. Slow servers.
Meh. Was so looking fowars to this as we had been there years ago. This is nothing compared to its former self. Great service, very quick but the food was pretty miserable. Jack cheese stuffed no flavor no nothing but semi warm limp flour tortillas with salsa that was nothing more than must chopped tomatoes. No flavor to anything except the beans. The beans were awesome and that's why I give it 2 stars. Beans were flavorful the rest was dog food.not coming back
Service is great but its needs more mex flavor to food
Super busy tonight. Still had excellent food and service. Thank yoi.
Love the food, service and atmosphere
Wow! I am not big fan of Mexican food but the food here are delicious. The women server is so polite and she cares about her customer. Loved the hospitality. Thank you guys for serving authentic Mexican food here. Will be back soon for sure.
Nice place. Clean, good service and good food. We ate there for Dads day and enjoyed it very much. Not much of a crowd but we were there for a late lunch or early dinner. Great Margaritas for the Ladies and good beer for the Guys. Give El Paraiso a try. Can't go wrong.
They were so disrespectful, accusing me of being someone else’s order and not having my food ready to pick up after calling it in 40 minutes ago...
This was an OK restaurant. American-Mexican food has become kind of cliche', but these folks do a decent job. Decent variety and authentic flavors.
One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ate at, if not The Best!!! The chile relleno tasted fresh and authentic, beans and rice were perfect! The staff were all so nice, attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!
The best food and service ever!
